About TCBA
Supporting Banking Professionals in Tarrant County Since 1993
About the Tarrant County Bankers Association
Established in 1993, the Tarrant County Bankers Association (TCBA) is a local, nonprofit organization with deep roots in the North Texas financial community. For over three decades, we have remained focused on three core pillars: leadership, education, and connection.
Our leadership board is composed entirely of active, local banking professionals in Tarrant County who bring decades of diverse, hands-on experience to the table. This direct involvement ensures that our programs, events, and initiatives are always highly relevant to the unique opportunities and challenges facing our local institutions.
Our Mission
To strengthen the banking industry by developing future and current leaders, delivering timely and practical learning opportunities, and fostering meaningful engagement across all areas of banking.
Through our professional development programs, industry events, and collaborative networking opportunities, TCBA serves as a trusted forum where local bankers can learn, connect, and grow.
Why We Do What We Do
The financial sector is built on trust, relationships, and knowledge. At TCBA, our membership represents banking professionals in Tarrant County at every single stage of their careers—from emerging talents and university students to seasoned executive leaders.
By uniting across different disciplines, lines of business, and institutions, we work collaboratively to elevate our profession and positively influence the wider Texas banking industry. We believe that by investing heavily in our people, our relationships, and our shared knowledge, we ensure a stronger, highly-informed, and closely-connected community for all banking professionals in Tarrant County today and for the future.
Board Of Directors & Officers
Fostering the Next Generation of Bankers
A unique and vital part of our mission is bridging the gap between local academic programs and active financial careers. We proudly maintain strategic partnerships with regional institutions, including:

Texas Wesleyan University (TWU)

The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA)
Through these collaborations, we create structured avenues for student internships, active classroom participation, executive panels, and direct career recruiting—ensuring a steady pipeline of highly prepared talent ready to join our local workforce.

The SERO Group
Many community banks run critical workloads on SQL Server, but few can justify a full-time Database Administrator to keep those systems healthy, secure, reliable, and audit-ready. The SERO Group fills that gap. As a SQL Server Database Administration as a Service provider, SERO serves as the dedicated DBA team for community banks, helping them reduce risk without adding headcount. SERO's services include ongoing managed DBA (SEROShield), SQL Server Health Checks, and CIS Benchmark Assessments. Every engagement is SQL Server only, which means clients get deep expertise rather than a generalist's attention.
